The Choir of Westminster Abbey

April 29 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

St. Paul’s is excited to present the Men and Boys Choir of Westminster Abbey, directed by Andrew Nethsingha and accompanied by organist Matthew Jorysz. The choir will sing a widely varied program of Anglican traditional favorites, including music by Tallis, Gibbons, Purcell, Vaughan Williams, Bairstow, and others.

Since its foundation in the late 14th century when the Abbey was a Benedictine monastery, the choir’s primary purpose has been the singing of the daily services. In addition, it plays a central role in the many royal, state, and national occasions which take place in the Abbey, including the state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II, the Coronation of King Charles III, and more.

Only 350 tickets can be sold, so reserve now to assure your spot. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear one of the world’s finest choirs in the splendid acoustic of the St. Paul’s Nave!
