At the regular meeting of St. Paul’s Vestry on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the following slate of Vestry members for terms commencing in 2026 was voted and approved:
For three-year terms: Cathy Albers, Diane Banyard, Brett Barkley, and Anne Rowland
Youth Delegates: Ella Wheaton, Ella Felber

Cathy Albers
Cathy is an Emerita Professor from CWRU in the department of Theater.
At St. Paul’s, she is the head of the Tutoring Ministry (through Reaching Heights), a regular volunteer at the summer reading camp for ODA through St. Paul’s, teaches Sunday Church School in Workshop Adventures, helps with the Christmas Pageant, is a lector and chalice minister, a volunteer with Loaves and Fishes, and is a regular participant in the Bible study group and her foyer group. She attends the 9 a.m. or 7:45 service.

Diane Banyard
Diane, husband Dave, and three children have been members of St. Paul’s since moving to Cleveland in 2016. Diane completed the four-year Education for Ministry program where she explored her faith more deeply.
At St. Paul’s, Diane is active in Parish Fellowship Committee, is a regular casserole maker for Loaves & Fishes, and recently was honored to serve on the Rector Search Committee. A favorite St. Paul’s memory is fellowship time during the Bellwether Women’s Retreats.
Outside of church, Diane is a retired physical therapist who has enjoyed raising the kids together with Dave. As a new empty-nester, Diane is looking forward to more time for skiing, being on Lake Erie in the summer, and continuing her attempt to learn to play the piano.

Brett Barkley
Brett and his wife, Emily, have been attending St. Paul’s since 2022. He has been involved in the Outreach Committee, Centered Groups, Contemplative Prayer, the Rector Search Committee, and, most recently, the Diocesan Convention in November.
Raised in other traditions, Brett and Emily are grateful for the journey that has brought them to the Episcopal Church, where they have found space to know themselves, others, and the Spirit of God more deeply.
By day, Brett is Assistant Vice President of Analytics in the Supervision & Regulation Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. He joined the Federal Reserve out of graduate school in 2014 after earning degrees in Applied Economics and City Planning.
Originally from Nashville, TN, he likes living on the Great Lakes and is surprisingly fond of Cleveland winters, minus the melt cycles. He enjoys reading, writing, hiking, skiing, a quality cup of coffee, good food, and live theatre.
He is grateful to be nominated to Vestry and looks forward to helping St. Paul’s be a welcoming place where we can live out our Baptismal Covenant together.

Anne Rowland
Anne Rowland and her family has been at St. Paul’s since moving to Cleveland from Washington, DC 11 years ago. Anne is currently coordinating the Transportation Ministry and serving on the Outreach Committee.
After retiring last year from legal practice, she welcomes the chance to meet more of her fellow parishioners and volunteer more regularly.
Anne’s daughter, Celia, went through the church’s formation programming, has sung with the choir since arriving at St. Paul’s, and served two years as a Youth Delegate to the Vestry.
Anne and her husband, Patrick, chaperoned the trip to the Boys Home over the summer and were so encouraged to see the connections that our youth formed on the trip.
Anne and her family have loved the community, the music, and the youth programming available at St. Paul’s. She hopes to learn more from others about what they value in our church — there is so much to appreciate here!

Ella Wheaton (Youth Delegate)
Ella Wheaton’s connection to St. Paul’s began as an infant when she was baptized sixteen years ago. Ella is a junior at Beaumont High School. She runs cross-country each fall and track each spring. If you are a fan of Mitchell’s ice cream, you can find Ella behind the counter scooping your favorite flavors!
Ella has a natural talent with children and spends a lot of time babysitting as well. Ella’s other talents include an eye for interior design and exceptional organizational skills. She especially enjoys skiing in the winter and reading at the beach in the summer.
Ella has grown a lot through new friendships, travel, and extracurricular clubs at school. She is looking forward to the next experience of being a Youth Delegate on Vestry.
