Rev. Alan Gates served as the fifteenth rector of St. Paul’s from 2004-2014. In 2014, Gates was ordained as the sixteenth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, where he served until his retirement in October 2024.

On the Second Sunday of Easter, our Bishop, the Right Reverend Anne B. Jolly, will preach and preside during a combined service. This episcopal visitation at St. Paul’s will also include the Confirmation and Reception of several youth candidates. We hope you will join us for this special service of welcome!
