Further Up Further In: Discernment Conversations with the Rector

The Rev’d T.J. Freeman is inviting all of us into an intentional period of discussion and discernment about our Sunday worship schedule, specifically about the possibility of combining our 9 and 11:15 a.m. liturgies into one principal Sunday service.

We are better when we are together, and at our current size, we can comfortably gather as one. Father T.J. is urging us to consider consolidating in order to grow—in numbers and in every other way.

This is genuine discernment, and the outcome is not predetermined. The Vestry and the Rector will send an update in December. Change can be hard, but we have the chance to change from a position of strength. As C.S. Lewis wrote, “Come further up, come further in.” We are grateful to be on this journey with you.
