Asylum Seeker Ministry

The number of immigrants seeking asylum status in the US has hit record numbers this year, giving rise to a humanitarian crisis. After months of careful discernment, a group of concerned St. Paul’s parishioners has begun a formal conversation with Episcopal Migration Ministries about becoming a community sponsor, a ministry that would offer friendship, practical support, and foster community connections for an asylum seeker in our area. If you would like to help us heed Christ’s call to welcome and care for those on the margins through this ministry, contact Rev. Brandon.

One, Combined Service

Sunday, May 24 | 10 a.m.

On the Day of Pentecost, we will have one liturgy at 10 a.m.*

Then we will watch a short play in honor of Pentecost, presented by our Workshop Adventures students. After the service, join us to celebrate Pentecost with crafts and a (free) treat from the East Coast Custard Truck (vanilla, chocolate, or mint chocolate chip).

It will be a festive morning full of color, joy, and good things to eat.

*The service will have ASL interpretation and be livestreamed.
