Kelsey Ferguson serves as Director of Music for Children and Youth at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Cleveland Heights, where her own musical journey began as a chorister. Returning in 2017 as an apprentice, and in 2019 as director, she leads young singers in weekly worship, collaborations with the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, Evensongs at Trinity Cathedral, and services at the Washington National Cathedral and St. James Cathedral in Chicago.
A Cleveland-based violinist and Suzuki educator, Kelsey maintains a thriving private studio, teaches at Laurel School, and performs with ensembles including the Blue Water Chamber Orchestra, Cleveland Pops, and Cleveland Opera Theater. She has also shared the stage with artists such as Michael Bublé, Yo-Yo Ma, and R.E.M.’s Mike Mills and Robert McDuffie.
Kelsey holds dual master’s degrees in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University.
