DESCRIPTION:On March 25\, the Feast of the Annunciation\, join us for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Feast of the Annunciation commemorates the moment when the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would bear God’s Son. This encounter marks the beginning of the Incarnation—God taking flesh in the world. \nHer response to God’s call\, “Let it be to me according to your word\,” reveals a faith that unites trust and understanding. On this day\, the church joins together to gives thanks for Mary’s witness and for the mystery of God’s grace made manifest in her willing heart. In her honor\, let us reaffirm the Baptismal Prayer\, “Give them an inquiring and discerning heart\, the courage to will and to persevere\, a spirit to know and to love you\, and the gift of joy and wonder in all your works.”

DESCRIPTION:You are warmly invited to a special Women’s Night Out—an evening of worship\, fellowship\, and meaningful connection. \nWe will begin at 6 p.m. in St. Martin’s Chapel as we celebrate The Feast of the Annunciation\, gathering in prayer and reflection on Mary’s faithful and open-hearted “yes.” \nFollowing the service\, we will continue the evening at The Fairmount for socializing and fellowship. Over substantial small plates\, we’ll enjoy time to reconnect\, relax\, and deepen friendships (registration is $35\, cash bar will be available). \nOur fellowship will also include a simple but heartfelt service project: writing notes of comfort and encouragement to women staying in shelters or participating in transition programs throughout our greater community—women who need to be reminded that they are seen\, valued\, and worthy. \nLet’s enjoy a meaningful evening of faith\, friendship\, and loving service! Gretchen Goss (enamel) and Lisa Schonberg (monoprints) explore themes of plant life\, woods\, water\, sky\, and earth. David Fink blends colored porcelain clays into vessel shapes that subtly suggest land\, seascapes\, and the beauty of earth. We’ll have light refreshments and live music (Eric Paetz).
