SUMMARY:GCC Action for Pretrial Justice
DESCRIPTION:Cleveland Municipal Court Candidate Forum\nElections have consequences- let’s use our influence for justice! “Off-year” elections (like the one on Tuesday\, November 4) don’t get as much attention\, but their outcomes have a huge impact on our local community. Greater Cleveland Congregations (GCC) is hosting a forum to meet the candidates for Cleveland Municipal Court and push for changes to this powerful institution. \nGCC’s goal is to establish an effective centralized booking system which can more quickly process persons arrested for criminal offenses\, bring them before a judge\, and release them to await trial or establish a reasonable bond. \nAt least five candidates for judge will be present to share how they see this issue\, goals for their candidacy\, and what can be done to ensure justice for all. The Action will take place at Antioch Baptist Church with carpooling from St. Paul’s. Sign up to attend in the foyer between services!

SUMMARY:CANCELED - Coventry Camerata: Choral Music of Poulenc and Stravinsky
DESCRIPTION:Regretfully\, we must cancel this concert. We invite you to attend a concert by Coventry Camerata: The Renaissance Revival in 20th-century England\, on Sunday\, April 19\, 2026\, at 4 p.m. \nCoventry Camerata\, St. Paul’s ensemble-in-residence\, returns this year for two concerts of 20th-century masterworks. This first concert features Francis Poulenc’s unaccompanied Mass in G Major\, Litanies à la Vierge Noire\, and several unaccompanied motets. Igor Stravinsky is represented by his rarely performed Mass for chorus and double wind quintet. It is a work of stark beauty\, delicately weaving together the tapestry of the mass texts.

SUMMARY:The Complete Choral Works of Maurice Duruflé
DESCRIPTION:The Senior Choir of St. Paul’s presents the complete choral works of Maurice Duruflé. Duruflé’s insistence on precision resulted in a relatively small catalogue of compositions. Despite the lack of quantity\, his works have exerted an oversized influence on 20th-century French music. \nIncluded are the Four Motets on Gregorian Themes\, the Notre-Père\, the rarely heard Messe ‘cum jubilo’ for male choir\, and the beloved and mystically transparent Requiem. The concert features Artist-in-Residence Todd Wilson as organist. Kevin Jones conducts.
