St. Paul’s ensemble-in-residence, the Coventry Camerata, presents a choral concert exploring the revival of Renaissance choral style that occurred during the 20th-century in England and elsewhere. They present three masterpieces that exemplify this revival: Mass in G Minor by Ralph Vaughan Williams, with Requiem and Take Him, Earth, for Cherishing by Herbert Howells. The concert is completely unaccompanied, which captures the raw emotional essence of each of these three works.
The 18-voice ensemble is conducted by Kevin Jones.
