DESCRIPTION:St. Paul’s is excited to present the Men and Boys Choir of Westminster Abbey\, directed by Andrew Nethsingha and accompanied by organist Matthew Jorysz. The choir will sing a widely varied program of Anglican traditional favorites\, including music by Tallis\, Gibbons\, Purcell\, Vaughan Williams\, Bairstow\, and others. \nSince its foundation in the late 14th century when the Abbey was a Benedictine monastery\, the choir’s primary purpose has been the singing of the daily services. In addition\, it plays a central role in the many royal\, state\, and national occasions which take place in the Abbey\, including the state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II\, the Coronation of King Charles III\, and more. \nOnly 350 tickets can be sold\, so reserve now to assure your spot.
