SUMMARY:Choral Eucharist: Britten's Missa Brevis
DESCRIPTION:The sopranos and altos of the Senior Choir offer Benjamin Britten’s Missa Brevis as the music of the ordinary on Sunday\, October 11\, at the 11:15 a.m. service. This delightful setting is scored for a choir of three treble voices and organ. \nIt was written in 1959 and premiered in 1959 at Westminster Cathedral (not Abbey)\, London. \nWe suggest worshipping in person for the fullest appreciation. However\, this service is also available to livestream on our Facebook Page\, YouTube Channel\, or our website: StPaulsCLE.org/Live \n  \nDuring this season of music at St. Paul’s\, we highlight the music of Benjamin Britten as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the composer’s death in 1976.
